Put the book on your home screen
You can put the book on your phone's home screen and open it with one tap, like an app. No App Store or Google Play, nothing extra to install: it's still the book on kspm.io, just opened on its own, full screen, with no address bar. This kind of app is called a web app (PWA).
Once you've opened the book, it opens again without a connection. The audiobook chapters you've saved play offline too.
iPhone, with Safari
- Open the book in Safari.
- Tap the three-dot button next to the address bar, then Share. On iOS 18 and earlier, Share is already in the bottom bar.
- Scroll down and choose "Add to Home Screen".
- If you see a switch to open it as a web app, leave it on, then tap Add.
iPhone, with Chrome
- Open the book in Chrome.
- Tap Share in the address bar.
- Choose "Add to Home Screen", then Add.
Android, with Chrome
- Open the book in Chrome.
- Tap the three-dot button in the top right corner.
- Choose "Add to home screen" or "Install app", depending on the phone, then Install.
After adding it
On iPhone, the book opened from the home screen doesn't share its sign-in or saved files with the browser. Open the book from the new icon, sign in there once (the book emails you a code), then save the audiobook.
On Android, the book opened from the home screen shares its sign-in with Chrome, so you don't sign in again.
Other browsers
Samsung Internet and many other browsers can do this too, usually from a menu item that says "home screen". If you can't find it, open the book in Safari (iPhone) or Chrome (Android).
Saving the audiobook to listen offline
If there's a "Listen" button under a chapter's title, you can listen to the audiobook. Each chapter you play is kept on your device. To keep the whole book at once, tap "Tải cả sách về máy để nghe không cần mạng" (save the whole book) in the player.
Removing it
Press and hold the book's icon, then choose delete (iPhone) or uninstall (Android). On iPhone, the sign-in and saved audiobook inside it go with it.
